We're dedicated to providing resources that empower CASA Programs, CASA Advocates, and those in foster care.

Who We Are

Founded by then-14-year-old Adalai Weeks, Catalyst for Kids is a nonprofit that aims to be a Catalyst for the futures of children in foster care through awareness, resources, and recruitment.

What Have We Done?

Adalai wrote a children’s book titled Sasha’s CASA as a resource to explain to children what a CASA advocate is. Over 400 copies of Sasha’s CASA are in 16 Arkansas counties, as well as North Texas. Sasha’s CASA can be used as a resource for children in foster care, CASA Programs, schools, libraries, and more! Click on the button below to purchase or donate!

Catalyst for Kids produces Cultivating CASA, an interview and social media series that spreads awareness and recruits for CASA. We host multiple fundraisers a year, provide hygiene items to foster children, and teach dance classes to foster children in partnership with NEA non-profit Together We Foster.
